NHLBI workshop on data integration for epidemiological research

Big Data Integration: Unlocking the Potential for Enhanced Epidemiological
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is hosting a two-day virtual workshop titled "Big Data Integration: Unlocking the Potential for Enhanced Epidemiological Research" on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST.
This virtual workshop aims to address the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating different data sources, and data types, and leveraging established data tools/techniques for population-based research. We aspire to foster dialogue about the importance of data standards, data harmonization, and reproducibility, and their applications in research.
