Oxford Big Data Institute Summer Studentships
The Oxford Big Data Institute (BDI) is offering 3 studentships to work on specific projects (see details) in 2021, aimed at second or third year undergraduates from any University with a background in quantitative studies (physics, mathematics, computing), software programming in Python (equivalent R skills would also be considered), with prior experience in basic machine learning techniques, particularly those involved in classification or with a background in statistics and experience of writing scripts for analysis.
The programme will take place remotely over the summer (June – August). Students will be working remotely with health data scientists of the BDI and will get a flavour of the breadth of research being undertaken at this interdisciplinary institute.
Successful candidates will receive a stipend of £3000.
