Dr. Hezekiah Isa (Project Coordinator/Manager)

Dr. Isa is a Senior Lecturer and a Consultant Haematologist at University of Abuja and University of Abuja Teaching Hospital respectively. He was the Nigeria Site Coordinator for Sickle Pan African Research Consortium (SPARCO ) Phase 1 and the Secretary of the Sickle Cell Support Society of Nigeria (SCSSN). He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion (NSHBT) and College of Nigerian Pathologists (CNP). He has been a facilitator in the yearly Update and Revision courses organized by the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria for resident doctors in Haematology since 2017. He was also involved in the planning and facilitation of the Progressive and Career Advancement in the Management of Haematological Disorders organized by the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Northwestern Buffett Institute for Global Studies in collaboration with University of Abuja and University of Lagos in 2018 and 2019. His areas of interest are Sickle Cell Disease and Blood Transfusion.
